Title:Improving the quality of healthcare through Internet of Things

Abstract:This paper attempts to outline how the adoption of Internet of Things (IoT) in healthcare can create real economic value and improve the patient experience. Thus, getting the maximum benefits requires understanding both the IoT paradigm and the enabling technologies, and how IoT can be applied in the field of healthcare. We will mention some open challenging issues to be addressed by the research community, and not only. Besides the real barriers in adopting the Internet of Things, there are some advantages regard collecting and processing patient data, and monitoring the daily health states of individuals, just to name a few. These aspects could revolutionize the healthcare industry.
