Title:Gas and dust in the BCD galaxy VII Zw 403 (UGC 6456)
View PDFAbstract:Based on the results of the earlier spectroscopic observations with the 6-m BTA telescope of the SAO RAS we refine the metallicity estimates of the complexes of ionized gas in the VII Zw 403 galaxy. Infrared observations from the Spitzer Space Telescope are used to search for a possible correlation of the mass fraction distribution of the polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAH) with the distribution of ionized and neutral hydrogen, and with the metallicity of gas in the HII regions of the galaxy.
