Extended Special Linear group $ESL_2(\mathbb{F})$ and square roots in matrix groups $SL_2(\mathbb{F})$, $SL_2(\mathbb{Z})$, $ESL_2(\mathbb{F})$, $GL_2(\mathbb{F}_p)$

Abstract: First time, we introduce Extended special linear group $ESL_2(F)$, which is generalization of matrix group $SL_2(F)$ over arbitrary field $F$. Extended special linear group $ESL_2(k)$, where $k$ is arbitrary perfect field, is storage of all square matrix roots from $ESL_2(k)$. The analytical formulas of roots of 2-nd, 3-rd, 4-th and $n$-th powers in $ SL_2(\mathbb{F}_p)$ are found by us. Also for… ▽ More First time, we introduce Extended special linear group $ESL_2(F)$, which is generalization of matrix group $SL_2(F)$ over arbitrary field $F$. Extended special linear group $ESL_2(k)$, where $k$ is arbitrary perfect field, is storage of all square matrix roots from $ESL_2(k)$. The analytical formulas of roots of 2-nd, 3-rd, 4-th and $n$-th powers in $ SL_2(\mathbb{F}_p)$ are found by us. Also for roots in $ SL_2(\mathbb{Z})$, $ ESL_2(\mathbb{Z})$ and in $ SL_2({k})$ as well as in $ESL_2({k})$, where $k$ is arbitrary perfect field, is found by us. New linear group which is storage of square roots from $ SL_2{\mathbb{F}_p}$ is found and investigated by us. The criterion of roots existing for different classes of matrix -- simple and semisimple matrixes from $ SL_2({\mathbb{F}_p})$, $ SL_2({\mathbb{Z}})$ are established. The problems of square root from group element existing in $SL_2(F_p)$, $SL_2(F_p)$ and $GL_2(F_p)$ for arbitrary prime $p$ are solved in this paper. The similar goal of root finding was reached in the GM algorithm adjoining an $n$-th root of a generator results in a discrete group for group $SL(2,R)$, but we consider this question over finite field $F_p$. Over method gives answer about existing $\sqrt{ M^n}$ without exponenting $M$ to $n$-th power. We only use the trace of $M$ or only eigenvalues of $M$. In \cite{Amit} only the Anisotropic case of group $SL_1(Q)$, where $Q$ is a quaternion division algebra over $k$ was considered. Previously criterion to be square only for the case $F_p$ is a field of characteristics not equal 2 was considered. We solve this problem even for fields $F_2$ and $F_{2^n}$. The criterion to $g \in SL_2 (F_2)$ be square in $SL_2(F_2)$ was not found by them what was declared in a separate sentence in \cite{Amit}. We consider more general case consisting in whole group $G= SL_2(F_q)$. The structure of extended symplectic group is found. △ Less

Triangle conics and cubics

Abstract: This is a paper about triangle cubics and conics in classical geometry with elements of projective geometry. In recent years, N.J. Wildberger has actively dealt with this topic using an algebraic perspective. Triangle conics were also studied in detail by H.M. Cundy and C.F. Parry recently. The main task of the article was to develop an algorithm for creating curves, which pass through triangle ce… ▽ More This is a paper about triangle cubics and conics in classical geometry with elements of projective geometry. In recent years, N.J. Wildberger has actively dealt with this topic using an algebraic perspective. Triangle conics were also studied in detail by H.M. Cundy and C.F. Parry recently. The main task of the article was to develop an algorithm for creating curves, which pass through triangle centers. During the research, it was noticed that some different triangle centers in distinct triangles coincide. The simplest example: an incenter in a base triangle is an orthocenter in an excentral triangle. This was the key for creating an algorithm. Indeed, we can match points belonging to one curve (base curve) with other points of another triangle. Therefore, we get a new intersting geometrical object. During the research were derived number of new triangle conics and cubics, were considered their properties in Euclidian space. In addition, was discussed corollaries of the obtained theorems in projective geometry, what proves that all of the descovered results could be transfered to the projeticve plane. △ Less

Commutator subgroups of Sylow 2-subgroups of alternating group and Miller-Moreno groups as bases of new Key Exchange Protocol

We consider non-commutative generalization of CDH problem \cite{gu2013new, bohli2006towards} on base of metacyclic group of Miller-Moreno type (minimal non-abelian group). We show that conjugacy problem in this group is intractable. Effectivity of computation is provided due to using groups of residues by modulo $n$. The algorithm of generating (designing) common key in non-commutative group with 2 mutually commuting subgroups is constructed by us. △ Less

Minimal generating set of Sylow 2-subgroups commutator subgroup of alternating group. Commutator width in Sylow $p$-subgroups of alternating, symmetric groups and in the wreath product of groups

Abstract: The size of minimal generating set for commutator of Sylow 2-subgroup of alternating group was found. Given a permutational wreath product of finite cyclic groups sequence we prove that the commutator width of such groups is 1 and we research some properties of its commutator subgroup. Given a permutational wreath product of finite cyclic groups sequence we prove that the commutator width of such groups is 1 and we research some properties of its commutator subgroup. As a result the short proof that the commutator width of Sylow 2-subgroups of alternating group ${A_{2^{k}}}$, permutation group ${S_{2^{k}}}$ and Sylow $p$-subgroups of $Syl_2 A_{p^k}$ ($Syl_2 S_{p^k}$) are equal to 1 was obtained. Commutator width of permutational wreath product $B \wr C_n$ were investigated. It was proven that the commutator length of an arbitrary element of commutator of the wreath product of cyclic groups $C_{p_i}, \, p_i\in \mathbb{N} $ equals to 1. The commutator width of direct limit of wreath product of cyclic groups are found. As a corollary, it was shown that the commutator width of Sylows $p$-subgroups $Syl_2(S_{p^{k}})$ of symmetric $S_{p^{k}}$ and alternating groups $A_{p^{k}}$ $p \geq 2$ are also equal to 1. A recursive presentation of Sylows $2$-subgroups $Syl_2(A_{2^{k}})$ of $A_{2^{k}}$ was introduced. The structure of Sylows $2$-subgroups commutator of symmetric and alternating groups were investigated. For an arbitrary group $B$ an upper bound of commutator width of $C_p \wr B$ was founded. △ Less

Irreducible Bases and Subgroups of a Wreath Product in Applying to Diffeomorphism Groups acting on the Möbius Band

We generalize re… ▽ More Given a permutational wreath product sequence of cyclic groups we investigate its minimal generating set, minimal generating set for its commutator and some properties of its commutator subgroup. We strengthen the result of author \cite{SkVC, SkMal, SkAr} and construct minimal generating set for wreath product of finite and infinite cyclic groups and direct product of such groups. We generalize results of Meldrum about commutator subgroup of wreath product \cite{Meld} because we take in consideration as regular wreath product as well as no regular (where active group $\mathcal{A}$ can acts not faithfully). Also commutator of such group and its minimal generating set. Also center of such products was investigated. Also fundamental group of orbits of a Morse function $f:M\to \mathbb{R}$ defined on a Mebius band $M$ with respect to the right action of the group of diffeomorphisms $\mathcal{D}(M)$ is investigated by us. The paper describes precise algebraic structure of the group $π_1 O(f)$. A minimal set of generators for the group of orbits of functions ${{π}_{1}}({{O}_{f}},f)$ arising under the action of diffeomorphisms group stabilizing the function $f$ and stabilizing $\partial M$ is found. The the Morse function $f$ has critical sets with one saddle point. The quotient group of restricted wreath products by its commutator was found. The generic sets of commutator of wreath product were investigated. Minimal generating set for this group and for commutator of group are found. The investigation of Euler's totient function preimages

Abstract: We propose a lower estimation for computing quantity of the inverses of Euler's function. We answer the question about the multiplicity of $m$ in the equation $\varphi(x) = m$ \cite{Ford}. An analytic expression for exact multiplicity of $m = {{2}^{{{2}^{n}}+a}}$, where $a\in N$, $a<{{2}^{n}}$, $\varphi(t)={{2}^{{{2}^{n}}+a}}$ was obtained. Edwards curve point counting method and supersingular Edwards and Montgomery curves

We research Edwards algebraic curves over a finite field, which at the present time is one of the most promising supports of sets of points that are used for fa… ▽ More We consider algebraic affine and projective curves of Edwards \cite{E, SkOdProj} over a finite field $\text{F}_{p^n}$. Most cryptosystems of the modern cryptography \cite{SkBlock} can be naturally transform into elliptic curves \cite{Kob}. We research Edwards algebraic curves over a finite field, which at the present time is one of the most promising supports of sets of points that are used for fast group operations \cite{Bir}. New method of counting Edwards curve order over finite field was constructed. It can be applied to order of elliptic curve due to birational equivalence between elliptic curve and Edwards curve. We find not only a specific set of coefficients with corresponding field characteristics, for which these curves are supersingular but also a general formula by which one can determine whether a curve $E_d[\mathbb{F}_{p^n}]$ is supersingular over this field or not. The embedding degree of the supersingular curve of Edwards over $\mathbb{F}_{p^n}$ in a finite field is investigated, the field characteristic, where this degree is minimal, was found. The criterion of supersungularity of the Edwards curves is found over $\mathbb{F}_{p^n}$. Also the generator of crypto stable sequence on an elliptic curve with a deterministic lower estimate of its period is proposed. △ Less

The purpose of this paper is to research the structure of a Sylow 2-subgroups and to construct a minimal generating system for such subgroups. In other words, the problem is not simply in the proof of existence of a generating set with elements for the Sylow 2-subgroup of alternating group of degree $2^k $ and proof its minimality. The main result is the proof of minimality of this generating set of the above described subgroups and also the description of their structure. △ Less

The aim of this paper is to research the struct… ▽ More The background of this paper is the following: search of the minimal systems of generators for this class of group which still was not founded also problem of representation for this class of group, exploration of systems of generators for Sylow 2-subgroups $Syl_2{A_{2^k}}$ and $Syl_2{A_{n}}$ of alternating group, finding structure these subgroups. The aim of this paper is to research the structure of Sylow 2-subgroups and to construct a minimal generating system for such subgroups. In other words, the problem is not simply in the proof of existence of a generating set with elements for Sylow 2-subgroup of alternating group of degree $2^k $ and its constructive proof and proof its minimality. For the construction of minimal generating set we used the representation of elements of group by automorphisms of portraits for binary tree. The main result is the proof of minimality of this generating set of the above described subgroups and also the description of their structure. Abstract: A criterion is given in order that the ideals of a one branch curve singularity form at most 2-parameter families. Namely, we present a list of plane curve singularities from the Arnold's classification which are the smallest among all one branch singularities having at most 2-parameter families of ideals.
