Stabilization with residual-free bubbles for advection-dominated transport equations

Abstract: An improved numerical scheme is proposed for advection-dominated advection-diffusion problem. The scheme is based on Galerkin finite element method (FEM) with basis enriched with approximations to residual-free bubbles.
