Dilatations of numerical semigroups

Abstract: This paper is focused on numerical semigroups and presents a simple construction, that we call dilatation, which, from a starting semigroup $S$, permits to get an infinite family of semigroups which share several properties with $S$. We also study three properties that are close to the Gorenstein property of the associated semigroup ring: almost Gorenstein, 2-AGL, and nearly Gorenstein properties. Families of Gorenstein and almost Gorenstein rings

Abstract: Starting with a commutative ring $R$ and an ideal $I$, it is possible to define a family of rings $R(I)_{a,b}$, with $a,b \in R$, as quotients of the Rees algebra $\oplus_{n \geq 0} I^nt^n$; among the rings appearing in this family we find Nagata's idealization and amalgamated duplication. A family of quotients of the Rees algebra

Abstract: A family of quotient rings of the Rees algebra associated to a commutative ring is studied. This family generalizes both the classical concept of idealization by Nagata and a more recent concept, the amalgamated duplication of a ring. On free resolutions of some semigroup rings

On differential operators of numerical semigroup rings

Abstract: If $S=<d_1,...,d_ν>$ is a numerical semigroup, we call the ring $\C[S]=\C[t^{d_1},...,t^{d_ν}]$ the semigroup ring of $S$. We study the ring of differential operators on $\C[S]$, and its associated graded in the filtration induced by the order of the differential operators. We find that these are easy to describe in case $S$ is a so called Arf semigroup. Type sequences of one-dimensional local analytically irreducible rings

Associated graded rings of one-dimensional analytically irreducible rings II

It can be fixed by adding a condition, called the BF condition. On plane algebroid curves

We show that having same semigroup is equivalent to having same multiplicity sequence, we calculate the semigroup from a parametrization, and we characterize semigroups for plane branches. Complete integral closure and strongly divisorial prime ideals

Arf characters of an algebroid curve

We extend the above equivalence to algebroid curves with $d>1$ branches. An equivalence class is described, in this more general context, by an Arf semigroup, that is not a numerical semigroup, but is a subsemigroup of $\mathbb N^d$.
