Search for a dark Higgs boson produced in association with inelastic dark matter at the Belle II experiment

Abstract: Inelastic dark matter models that have two dark matter particles and a massive dark photon can reproduce the observed relic dark matter density without violating cosmological limits. The mass splitting between the two dark matter particles $χ_{1}$ and $χ_{2}$, with $m(χ_{2}) > m(χ_{1})$, is induced by a dark Higgs field and a corresponding dark Higgs boson $h^{\prime}$. We present a search for dark matter in events with two vertices, at least one of which must be displaced from the interaction region, and missing energy. Using a $365\,\mbox{fb}^{-1}$ data sample collected at Belle II, which operates at the SuperKEKB $e^+e^-$ collider, we observe no evidence for a signal. We set upper limits on the product of the production cross section $σ\left(e^+e^- \to h^\prime χ_1 χ_2\right)$, and the product of branching fractions $\mathcal{B}\left(χ_2\toχ_1 e^+ e^-\right)\times\mathcal{B}\left(h^\prime\to x^+x^-\right)$, where $x^+x^-$ indicates $μ^+μ^-, π^+π^-$, or $K^+K^-$, as functions of $h^{\prime}$ mass and lifetime at the level of $10^{-1}\,\mbox{fb}$. We set model-dependent upper limits on the dark Higgs mixing angle at the level of $10^{-5}$ and on the dark photon kinetic mixing parameter at the level of $10^{-3}$. Abstract: Using $e^+e^-$ collision data corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 22.7 fb$^{-1}$, collected at center-of-mass energies between 3.7 and 4.7 GeV with the BESIII detector, we present a measurement of energy-dependent cross sections and effective form factors for the process of $e^+e^-\to Ω^{-}\barΩ^+$. By conducting a fit to the cross sections of $e^+e^-\to Ω^{-}\barΩ^+$ considering the… ▽ More Using $e^+e^-$ collision data corresponding to a total integrated luminosity of 22.7 fb$^{-1}$, collected at center-of-mass energies between 3.7 and 4.7 GeV with the BESIII detector, we present a measurement of energy-dependent cross sections and effective form factors for the process of $e^+e^-\to Ω^{-}\barΩ^+$. By conducting a fit to the cross sections of $e^+e^-\to Ω^{-}\barΩ^+$ considering the continuum and resonant contributions, a clear resonant structure in the spectrum around 4.2 GeV is observed for the first time with a statistical significance exceeding 10$σ$, and it can be well described with the line shape of the $Y(4230)$ and $Y(4320)$ observed in $e^+e^-\to π^{+}π^{-}J/ψ$. Evidence for the decay $ψ(3770) \to Ω^-\barΩ^{+}$ is observed with a statistical significance of 4.4$σ$ by analyzing the measured cross sections together with earlier BESIII results, and the branching fraction is firstly measured to be $(4.0\pm1.0\pm0.6)$ $\times$ $10^{-5}$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. △ Less

This report describes the FCC integrated programme, which consists of two stages: an electron-positron collider (FCC-ee) in the first phase, serving as a high-luminosity Higgs, top, and electroweak factory;… ▽ More In response to the 2020 Update of the European Strategy for Particle Physics, the Future Circular Collider (FCC) Feasibility Study was launched as an international collaboration hosted by CERN. This report describes the FCC integrated programme, which consists of two stages: an electron-positron collider (FCC-ee) in the first phase, serving as a high-luminosity Higgs, top, and electroweak factory; followed by a proton-proton collider (FCC-hh) at the energy frontier in the second phase. FCC-ee is designed to operate at four key centre-of-mass energies: the Z pole, the WW production threshold, the ZH production peak, and the top/anti-top production threshold - delivering the highest possible luminosities to four experiments. Over 15 years of operation, FCC-ee will produce more than 6 trillion Z bosons, 200 million WW pairs, nearly 3 million Higgs bosons, and 2 million top anti-top pairs. Precise energy calibration at the Z pole and WW threshold will be achieved through frequent resonant depolarisation of pilot bunches. The sequence of operation modes remains flexible. FCC-hh will operate at a centre-of-mass energy of approximately 85 TeV - nearly an order of magnitude higher than the LHC - and is designed to deliver 5 to 10 times the integrated luminosity of the HL-LHC. Its mass reach for direct discovery extends to several tens of TeV. In addition to proton-proton collisions, FCC-hh is capable of supporting ion-ion, ion-proton, and lepton-hadron collision modes. This second volume of the Feasibility Study Report presents the complete design of the FCC-ee collider, its operation and staging strategy, the full-energy booster and injector complex, required accelerator technologies, safety concepts, and technical infrastructure. The report describes development of the project scenario based on the 'avoid-reduce-compensate' iterative optimisation approach. Environmental field investigations covering almost 600 hectares of terrain - including numerous urban, economic, social, and technical aspects - confirmed the project's technical feasibility and contributed to the preparation of essential input documents for the formal project authorisation phase. The results of a comprehensive socio-economic impact assessment, which included significant environmental effects, are presented. The decay modes $χ_{c1}$ and $χ_{c2}\toηηη^{\prime}$ are observed for the first time, and their corresponding branching fractions are determined to be… ▽ More Based on a sample of $2.7\times10^{9}$ $ψ(3686)$ events collected by the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII collider, an analysis of the decay $ψ(3686)\toγχ_{cJ}, χ_{cJ}\toηηη^{\prime}$ is performed. The decay modes $χ_{c1}$ and $χ_{c2}\toηηη^{\prime}$ are observed for the first time, and their corresponding branching fractions are determined to be $\mathcal{B}(χ_{c1}\toηηη^{\prime}) = (1.39 \pm 0.13(\text{stat.}) \pm 0.09(\text{sys.})) \times 10^{-4}$ and $\mathcal{B}(χ_{c2}\toηηη^{\prime}) = (4.42 \pm 0.86(\text{stat.}) \pm 0.37(\text{sys.})) \times 10^{-5}$. An upper limit on the branching fraction of $χ_{c0}\toηηη^{\prime}$ is set as $2.64 \times 10^{-5}$ at 90\% confidence level (CL). A partial wave analysis (PWA) of the decay $χ_{c1}\toηηη^{\prime}$ is performed to search for the $1^{-+}$ exotic state $η_1(1855)$. The PWA result indicates that the structure in the $ηη^{\prime}$ mass spectrum is mainly attributed to the $f_0(1500)$, while in the $ηη$ mass spectrum, it is primarily the $0^{++}$ phase space. The upper limit of $\mathcal{B}(χ_{c1}\toη_{1}(1855)η) \cdot \mathcal{B}(η_{1}(1855)\toηη^{\prime})< 9.79 \times 10^{-5}$ is set based on the PWA at 90\% CL. △ Less

Abstract: The goal of the LHCspin project is to develop innovative solutions for measuring the 3D structure of nucleons in high-energy polarized fixed-target collisions at LHC, exploring new processes and exploiting new probes in a unique, previously unexplored, kinematic regime. A precise multi-dimensional description of the hadron structure has, in fact, the potential to deepen our understanding of the st… ▽ More The goal of the LHCspin project is to develop innovative solutions for measuring the 3D structure of nucleons in high-energy polarized fixed-target collisions at LHC, exploring new processes and exploiting new probes in a unique, previously unexplored, kinematic regime. A precise multi-dimensional description of the hadron structure has, in fact, the potential to deepen our understanding of the strong interactions and to provide a much more precise framework for measuring both Standard Model and Beyond Standard Model observables. This ambitious task poses its basis on the recent experience with the successful installation and operation of the SMOG2 unpolarized gas target in front of the LHCb spectrometer. Besides allowing for interesting physics studies ranging from astrophysics to heavy-ion physics, SMOG2 provides an ideal benchmark for studying beam-target dynamics at the LHC and demonstrates the feasibility of simultaneous operation with beam-beam collisions. With the installation of the proposed polarized target system, LHCb will become the first experiment to simultaneously collect data from unpolarized beam-beam collisions at $\sqrt{s}$=14 TeV and polarized and unpolarized beam-target collisions at $\sqrt{s_{NN}}\sim$100 GeV. LHCspin has the potential to open new frontiers in physics by exploiting the capabilities of the world's most powerful collider and one of the most advanced spectrometers. This document also highlights the need to perform an R\&D campaign and the commissioning of the apparatus at the LHC Interaction Region 4 during the Run 4, before its final installation in LHCb. This opportunity could also allow to undertake preliminary physics measurements with unprecedented conditions. △ Less

Measurement of the time-integrated $CP$ asymmetry in $D^0 \to K^0_{\rm S} K^0_{\rm S}$ decays using opposite-side flavor tagging at Belle and Belle II

Abstract: We present the results of a search for charged-lepton-flavor violating decays $τ^{-} \rightarrow \ell^{-}K_{S}^{0}$, where $\ell^{-}$ is either an electron or a muon. We combine $e^+e^-$ data samples recorded by the Belle II experiment at the SuperKEKB collider (428 fb$^{-1}$) with samples recorded by the Belle experiment at the KEKB collider (980 fb$^{-1}$) to obtain a sample of 1.3 billion… ▽ More We present the results of a search for charged-lepton-flavor violating decays $τ^{-} \rightarrow \ell^{-}K_{S}^{0}$, where $\ell^{-}$ is either an electron or a muon. Abstract: We report measurements of the ratios of branching fractions $\mathcal{R}(D^{(*)+}) = \mathcal{B}(\overline{B}{}^0 \to D^{(*)+} \,τ^- \, \overlineν_τ) / \mathcal{B}(\overline{B}{}^0 \to D^{(*)+} \, \ell^- \, \overlineν_\ell)$, where $\ell$ denotes either an electron or a muon. These ratios test the universality of the charged-current weak interaction. The results are based on a… ▽ More We report measurements of the ratios of branching fractions $\mathcal{R}(D^{(*)+}) = \mathcal{B}(\overline{B}{}^0 \to D^{(*)+} \,τ^- \, \overlineν_τ) / \mathcal{B}(\overline{B}{}^0 \to D^{(*)+} \, \ell^- \, \overlineν_\ell)$, where $\ell$ denotes either an electron or a muon. These ratios test the universality of the charged-current weak interaction. The results are based on a $365\, \mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ data sample collected with the Belle II detector at the SuperKEKB $e^+e^-$ collider, which operates at a center-of-mass energy corresponding to the $Υ(4S)$ resonance, just above the threshold for $B\overline{B}{}$ production. Signal candidates are reconstructed by selecting events in which the companion $B$ meson from the $Υ(4S) \to B\overline{B}{}$ decay is identified in semileptonic modes. The $τ$ lepton is reconstructed via its leptonic decays. We obtain $\mathcal{R}(D^+) = 0.418 \pm 0.074 ~({\mathrm{stat}}) \pm 0.051 ~({\mathrm{syst}})$ and $\mathcal{R}(D^{*+}) = 0.306 \pm 0.034 ~({\mathrm{stat}}) \pm 0.018 ~({\mathrm{syst}})$, which are consistent with world average values. Precise measurement of the form factors in $D^0\rightarrow K^*(892)^-μ^+ν_μ$ and test of lepton universality with $D^0\rightarrow K^*(892)^-\ell^+ν_{\ell}$ decays

Abstract: We report a study of the semileptonic decay $D^0 \rightarrow \bar{K}^0π^-μ^+ν_μ$ based on a sample of $7.9~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ annihilation data collected at a center-of-mass energy of 3.773~GeV with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. The branching fraction of the decay is measured for the first time to be… ▽ More We report a study of the semileptonic decay $D^0 \rightarrow \bar{K}^0π^-μ^+ν_μ$ based on a sample of $7.9~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ annihilation data collected at a center-of-mass energy of 3.773~GeV with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. The branching fraction of the decay is measured for the first time to be $\mathcal{B}(D^0\rightarrow \bar{K}^0π^-μ^+ν_μ) = (1.373 \pm 0.020_{\rm stat} \pm 0.023_{\rm syst})\%$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. Based on the investigation of the decay dynamics, we find that the decay is dominated by the $K^{*}(892)^-$ resonance with the branching fraction measured to be $\mathcal{B}(D^0\rightarrow K^{*}(892)^-μ^+ν_μ) = (1.948 \pm 0.033_{\rm stat} \pm 0.036_{\rm syst})\%$. We also determine the hadronic form factors for the $D^0\rightarrow K^{*}(892)^-μ^+ν_μ$ decay to be $r_{V} = V(0)/A_1(0) = 1.46 \pm 0.11_{\rm stat} \pm 0.04_{\rm syst}$, $r_{2} = A_2(0)/A_1(0) = 0.71 \pm 0.08_{\rm stat} \pm 0.03_{\rm syst}$, and $A_1(0)=0.609 \pm 0.008_{\rm stat} \pm 0.008_{\rm syst}$, where $V(0)$ is the vector form factor and $A_{1,2}(0)$ are the axial form factors evaluated at $q^2=0$. The $A_1(0)$ is measured for the first time in $D^0\rightarrow K^{*}(892)^-μ^+ν_μ$ decay. Averaging the form-factor parameters that we reported previously in $D^0\rightarrow K^*(892)^-(\rightarrow \bar{K}^0π^-)e^+ν_{e}$ and $D^0\rightarrow K^*(892)^-(\rightarrow K^-π^0)μ^+ν_μ$ decays, we obtain $r_{V}=1.456\pm0.040_{\rm stat}\pm0.016_{\rm syst}$, $r_{2}=0.715\pm0.031_{\rm stat}\pm0.014_{\rm stat}$, and $A_1(0)=0.614\pm0.005_{\rm stat}\pm0.004_{\rm syst}$. This is the most precise determination of the form-factor parameters to date measured in $D\rightarrow K^*(892)$ transition, which provide the most stringent test on various theoretical models. △ Less

Additionally, we measure the angular distribution parameter and the modulus of the ratio between the electric and the magnetic form factor is found to be $η=0.86\pm0.05\pm0.03$ and $R(s)=|G_{E}(s)/G_{M}(s)|=0.47\pm0.08\pm0.05$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second systematic. △ Less

Observation of a Three-Resonance Structure in the Cross Section of $e^+e^-\toπ^+π^- h_c$

Abstract: Using $e^+e^-$ collision data collected with the BESIII detector operating at the Beijing Electron Positron Collider, the cross section of $e^+e^-\to π^+π^- h_c$ is measured at 59 points with center-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s}$ ranging from $4.009$ to $4.950~\mathrm{GeV}$ with a total integrated luminosity of $22.2~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$. The cross section between $4.3$ and $4.45~\mathrm{GeV}$ exhibits a… ▽ More Using $e^+e^-$ collision data collected with the BESIII detector operating at the Beijing Electron Positron Collider, the cross section of $e^+e^-\to π^+π^- h_c$ is measured at 59 points with center-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s}$ ranging from $4.009$ to $4.950~\mathrm{GeV}$ with a total integrated luminosity of $22.2~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$. The cross section between $4.3$ and $4.45~\mathrm{GeV}$ exhibits a plateau-like shape and drops sharply around $4.5~\mathrm{GeV}$, which cannot be described by two resonances only. Three coherent Breit-Wigner functions are used to parameterize the $\sqrt{s}$-dependent cross section line shape. The masses and widths are determined to be $M_1=(4223.6_{-3.7-2.9}^{+3.6+2.6})~\mathrm{MeV}/c^2$, $Γ_1=(58.5_{-11.4-6.5}^{+10.8+6.7})~\mathrm{MeV}$, $M_2=(4327.4_{-18.8-9.3}^{+20.1+10.7})~\mathrm{MeV}/c^2$, $Γ_2=(244.1_{-27.1-18.0}^{+34.0+23.9})~\mathrm{MeV}$, and $M_3=(4467.4_{-5.4-2.7}^{+7.2+3.2})~\mathrm{MeV}/c^2$, $Γ_3=(62.8_{-14.4-6.6}^{+19.2+9.8})~\mathrm{MeV}$. The first uncertainties are statistical and the other two are systematic. Evidence of doubly OZI-suppressed decay $η_{c} \to ωφ$ in the radiative decay $J/ψ\to γη_{c}$

Abstract: Using a sample of $(10087\pm44) \times 10^{6}$ $J/ψ$ events collected with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider, the first evidence for the doubly OZI-suppressed decay $η_{c} \to ωφ$ is reported with a significance of 4.0$σ$. Abstract: By analysing $e^+e^-$ annihilation data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 368.48~pb$^{-1}$ collected at the centre-of-mass energies of $\sqrt{s} = 4.918$ and $4.951$~GeV with the BESIII detector, we report the first observation of $Λ_{c}(2595)^{+}$ and $Λ_{c}(2625)^{+}\to Λ^{+}_{c}π^0π^0$ with statistical significances of 7.9$σ$ and 11.8$σ$, respectively. We also perform the first searches for $D^0\to K^+π^-η$, $D^0\to K^+π^-π^0η$, $D^+\to K^+π^+π^-η$, $D^{+} \to K^{+} \left(π^{+} π^{-} η\right)_{{\rm non}-η^{\prime}}$, and $D^+\to K^+ηη$ and report the first observations and evidence for some of these final states. Combining the measurements with the world averages of the corresponding Cabibbo-favored (CF) decays, the ratios of the DCS/CF branching fractions are obtained. The measured branching fraction ratios are $\frac{\cal{B}(Ξ_{c}^{+} \to Σ^{+}K_{S}^{0})}{\cal{B}(Ξ_{c}^{+}\to Ξ^{-}π^{+}π^+)}= 0.067 \pm 0.007 \pm 0.003$, $\frac{\cal{B}(Ξ_c^{+} \to Ξ^{0}π^{+})}{\cal{B}(Ξ_{c}^{+}\to Ξ^{-}π^{+}π^+)} = 0.248 \pm 0.005 \pm 0.009$, $\frac{\cal{B}(Ξ_c^{+} \to Ξ^{0}K^{+})}{\cal{B}(Ξ_{c}^{+}\to Ξ^{-}π^{+}π^+)} = 0.017 \pm 0.003 \pm 0.001$. Additionally, the ratio ${\cal B}(Ξ_{c}^{+}\toΞ^{0}K^{+})/{\cal B}(Ξ_{c}^{+}\toΞ^{0}π^{+})$ is measured to be $ 0.068 \pm 0.010 \pm 0.004$. Here, the first and second uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. Stringent test of $CP$ symmetry in $Σ^+$ hyperon decays

Furthermore, the quantum-entangled $Σ^{+}\barΣ^{-}$ system enables the most precise test of $CP$ symmetry for the decay $Σ^+\to pπ^0$, through the asymmetry observable $A_{CP}=(α_{0}+\barα_{0})/(α_{0}-\barα_{0})$ that is measured to be $-0.0118\pm0.0083_{\rm stat}\pm0.0028_{\rm syst}$. Assuming $CP$ conservation, the average decay parameter is determined to be ${\left< α_{\rm 0}\right>} = (α_0-\barα_0)/2=-0.9869\pm0.0011_{\rm stat}\pm0.0016_{\rm syst}$, which is the most precise measurement of the asymmetry decay parameters in baryon sectors. The angular dependence of the ratio of the polarization of the $Σ^+$ in both $J/ψ$ and $ψ(3686)$ decays is studied for the first time. △ Less

The branching fraction of $D_{s}^{+} \to K_{S}^{0}K_{L}^{0}π^{+}$ is determined to be $(1.86\pm0.06_{\rm stat}\pm0.03_{\rm syst})\%$. Combining the $\mathcal{B}(D_{s}^{+} \to φ(\to K_{S}^0K_{L}^0) π^+)$ obtained in this work and the world average of $\mathcal{B}(D_{s}^{+} \to φ(\to K^+K^-) π^+)$, we measure the relative branching fraction $\mathcal{B}(φ\to K_S^0K_L^0)/\mathcal{B}(φ\to K^+K^-)$=($0.597 \pm 0.023_{\rm stat} \pm 0.018_{\rm syst} \pm 0.016_{\rm PDG}$), which deviates from the PDG value by more than 3$σ$. Measurement of the Branching Fraction of $Λ_c^+ \to p K_S^0 π^0$ at Belle

Abstract: We report a precise measurement of the ratio of branching fractions $\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\to p K_S^0 π^0)/\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\to p K^- π^+)$ using 980 fb$^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ data from the Belle experiment. We obtain a value of $\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\to p K_S^0 π^0)/\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\to p K^- π^+)=0.339\pm 0.002\pm 0.009$, where the first and second uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively.… ▽ More We report a precise measurement of the ratio of branching fractions $\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\to p K_S^0 π^0)/\mathcal{B}(Λ_c^+\to p K^- π^+)$ using 980 fb$^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ data from the Belle experiment. The BF of the inclusive decay $Λ_{c}^{+} \to \overline{K}^{0} / K^{0} X$ is calculated to be $\mathcal{B}(Λ_{c}^{+} \to \overline{K}^{0} / K^{0} X)=(21.8 \pm0.4 \pm0.2 \pm1.1)\%$, where the third uncertainty accounts for a possible difference between $\mathcal{B}(Λ_{c}^{+} \to K_{S}^{0} X)$ and $\mathcal{B}(Λ_{c}^{+} \to K_{L}^{0} X)$. Abstract: Using $(2712\pm14)\times10^6$ $ψ(3686)$ events collected with the BESIII detector, we perform the first amplitude analysis of the radiative decay $ψ(3686)\to γK_S^0 K_S^0$ within the mass region $M_{K_S^0 K_S^0 }<2.8$ GeV/$c^2$. Employing a one-channel K-matrix approach for the description of the dynamics of the $K^0_S K^0_S$ system, the data sample is well described with four poles for the $f_0$-wave and three poles for the $f_2$-wave. The determined pole positions are consistent with those of well-established resonance states. The observed $f_0$ and $f_{2}$ states are found to be in agreement with those produced in radiative $J/ψ$ decays. The production behaviors of $f_0$ and $f_2$ poles in $ψ(3686)\toγK_S^0 K_S^0$ are qualified with their residues and the converted branching fractions. By comparing with $J/ψ\toγK_S^0 K_S^0$ decay, the ratios $\frac{\mathcal{B}(ψ(3686)\toγf_{0,2})}{\mathcal{B}(J/ψ\toγf_{0,2})}$ are determined, which provides crucial experimental inputs on the internal structure of the $f_{0,2}$ states, especially their potential mixing with glueball components. △ Less

Abstract: Using data samples of 102 million Upsilon(1S) events and 158 million Upsilon(2S) events collected by the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^+e^-$ collider, we search for [udsccbar] pentaquark states decaying to Jpsi Lambda. Using the first observations of Upsilon(1S, 2S) inclusive decays to Jpsi Lambda, we find evidence of the P_ccbars(4459)0 state with a significance of 3.3 standard… ▽ More Using data samples of 102 million Upsilon(1S) events and 158 million Upsilon(2S) events collected by the Belle detector at the KEKB asymmetric-energy $e^+e^-$ collider, we search for [udsccbar] pentaquark states decaying to Jpsi Lambda. Using the first observations of Upsilon(1S, 2S) inclusive decays to Jpsi Lambda, we find evidence of the P_ccbars(4459)0 state with a significance of 3.3 standard deviations, including statistical and systematic uncertainties. We measure the mass and width of the Pccbars(4459)0 to be (4471.7 +- 4.8 +- 0.6) MeV/c2 and (21.9 +- 13.1 +- 2.7) MeV, respectively. The branching fractions for P_ccbars(4459)0 production are measured to be B[Upsilon(1S) -> P_ccbars(4459)0/ Pbar_ccbars(4459)0 + anything] = (3.5 +- 2.0 +- 0.2)*10-6 and B[Upsilin(2S) -> P_ccbars(4459)0/ Pbar_ccbars(4459)0 +anything] = (2.9 +- 1.7 +- 0.4)*10-6. The inclusive branching fractions of Upsilon(1S, 2S) -> Jpsi Lambda/Lambdabar are measured to be B[Upsilin(1S) -> Jpsi Lambda/Lambdabar + anything] = (36.9 +- 5.3 +- 2.4)*10-6 and B[Upsilon(2S) -> Jpsi Lambda/Lambdabar + anything] = (22.3 +- 5.7 +- 3.1)*10-6. We measure the visible cross section $σ(e^+e^- \to J/psi Λ/\barΛ$ + anything) = (90 +- 14 +- 6) fb for the continuum production at $\sqrt{s} = 10.52$ GeV. The mass of $χ_{c0}$ is determined to be $M(χ_{c0})=(3415.67\pm0.07\pm0.06\pm0.07$)~MeV/$c^2$, and its full width is… ▽ More By analyzing a $ψ(3686)$ data sample containing $(107.7\pm0.6)\times10^{6}$ events taken with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII storage ring in 2009, the $χ_{c0}$ resonance parameters are precisely measured using $χ_{c0,c2} \to π^+π^-/K^+K^-$ events. The mass of $χ_{c0}$ is determined to be $M(χ_{c0})=(3415.67\pm0.07\pm0.06\pm0.07$)~MeV/$c^2$, and its full width is $Γ(χ_{c0})=(12.44\pm0.12\pm0.12)~{\rm MeV}$, where the first uncertainty is statistical, the second systematic, and the third for mass comes from $χ_{c2}$ mass uncertainty. These measurements improve the precision of $χ_{c0}$ mass by a factor of four and width by one order of magnitude over the previous individual measurements, and significantly boost our knowledge about the charmonium spectrum. Together with additional $(345.4\pm2.6)\times10^{6}$ $ψ(3686)$ data events taken in 2012, the decay branching fractions of $χ_{c0,c2}\toπ^+π^-/K^+K^-$ are measured as well, with precision improved by a factor of three compared to previous measurements. Abstract: We present a measurement of the branching fraction of $B^+\toτ^+ν_τ$ decays using $(387\pm6)\times 10^6$ $Υ(4S)$ collected between 2019 and 2022 with the Belle II detector at the SuperKEKB $e^+e^-$ collider. We reconstruct the accompanying $B^-$ meson using the hadronic tagging method, while $B^+\toτ^+ν_τ$ candidates are identified in the recoil. Abstract: By analyzing 7.93 $\rm fb^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ collision data collected at the center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector operated at the BEPCII collider, we report the observation of the semimuonic decays of $D^+\to \bar K_1(1270)^0μ^+ν_μ$ and $D^0\to K_1(1270)^-μ^+ν_μ$ with statistical significances of $12.5σ$ and $6.0σ$, respectively. Their decay branching fractions are determined… ▽ More By analyzing 7.93 $\rm fb^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ collision data collected at the center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector operated at the BEPCII collider, we report the observation of the semimuonic decays of $D^+\to \bar K_1(1270)^0μ^+ν_μ$ and $D^0\to K_1(1270)^-μ^+ν_μ$ with statistical significances of $12.5σ$ and $6.0σ$, respectively. Their decay branching fractions are determined to be ${\mathcal B}[D^{+}\to \bar{K}_1(1270)^0 μ^{+}ν_μ]=(2.36\pm0.20^{+0.18}_{-0.27}\pm 0.48)\times10^{-3}$ and ${\mathcal B}[D^{0}\to K_1(1270)^{-} μ^{+}ν_μ]=(0.78\pm0.11^{+0.05}_{-0.09}\pm 0.15)\times10^{-3}$, where the first and second uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively, and the third originates from the input branching fraction of $\bar K_{1}(1270)^0\to K^- π^+π^0$ or $K_1(1270)^-\to K^-π^+π^-$. Combining our branching fractions with the previous measurements of ${\mathcal B}[D^+\to \bar K_1(1270)^0e^+ν_{e}]$ and ${\mathcal B}[D^0\to K_1(1270)^-e^+ν_{e}]$, we determine the branching fraction ratios to be ${\mathcal B}[D^+\to \bar K_1(1270)^0μ^+ν_μ]/{\mathcal B}[D^+\to \bar K_1(1270)^0e^+ν_{e}]=1.03 \pm 0.14 \substack{+0.11\\-0.15}$ and ${\mathcal B}[D^0\to K_1(1270)^-μ^+ν_μ]/{\mathcal B}[D^0\to K_1(1270)^-e^+ν_{e}]=0.74\pm 0.13 \substack{+0.08\\-0.13}$. Using the branching fractions measured in this work and the world-average lifetimes of the $D^+$ and $D^0$ mesons, we determine the semimuonic partial decay width ratio to be $Γ[D^+\to \bar K_1(1270)^0 μ^+ν_μ]/Γ[D^0\to K_1(1270)^- μ^+ν_μ]=1.22\pm 0.10\substack{+0.06\\-0.09}$, which is consistent with unity as predicted by isospin conservation. △ Less

Furthermore, the $CP$-violation asymmetry parameter is found to be $\mathcal{A}_{CP}(η\rightarrowπ^{+}π^{-}e^{+}e^{-})=(-4.04\pm4.69_{\rm{stat.}}\pm0.14_{\rm{syst.}})\%$, showing no evidence of $CP$-violation with current statistics. Additionally, we extract the transition form factor from the decay amplitude of $η\rightarrowπ^+π^-e^+e^-$. Finally, axion-like particles are searched for via the decay $η\rightarrowπ^+π^-a, a\rightarrow e^+e^-$, and upper limits on this branching fraction relative to that of $η\rightarrowπ^+π^-e^+e^-$ are presented as a function of the axion-like particle mass in the range $5-200\ \mathrm{MeV}/c^{2}$. △ Less
