Abstract: In this paper, we will initially go through the results of assessment in mathematics according to the international assessment programs PISA, TIMSS (2003), with respect to students' portfolios. Furthermore, we will present the forms and the ways of assessment and will focus on that assessment which refers to the use of eportfolios.
