Search for sub-GeV invisible particles in inclusive decays of $J/ψ$ to $φ$

Abstract: A search for an invisible particle, $X$, with a mass between 0 and 0.96 $\textrm{GeV}/\textit{c}^{2}$, is performed in the process $J/ψ\rightarrowφ+ X$ using $(8774.0\pm39.4)\times10^{6}$ $J/ψ$ events collected with the BESIII detector from 2017 to 2019. The $φ$ meson is fully reconstructed and an efficient veto of photons, neutral and charged hadrons up to twice the $K_L^0$ mass is applied to the… ▽ More A search for an invisible particle, $X$, with a mass between 0 and 0.96 $\textrm{GeV}/\textit{c}^{2}$, is performed in the process $J/ψ\rightarrowφ+ X$ using $(8774.0\pm39.4)\times10^{6}$ $J/ψ$ events collected with the BESIII detector from 2017 to 2019. The $φ$ meson is fully reconstructed and an efficient veto of photons, neutral and charged hadrons up to twice the $K_L^0$ mass is applied to the rest of the events, and the recoil mass against the $φ$ is obtained precisely from the kinematic constraint in the event. No significant signal is observed in the investigated region and the upper limit on the inclusive branching fraction of $J/ψ\rightarrowφ+ X$ is determined to be $7.5\times10^{-8}$ at 90% confidence level. Upper limits at a 90% confidence level are also given for this branching fraction as a function of the invisible particle mass, varying from $9\times10^{-9}$ to $4\times10^{-8}$ over the investigated mass range. Additionally, a 90% confidence level upper limit on the branching fraction of $η\rightarrow \rm{invisible}$ is determined to $2.6\times10^{-5}$, which improves the previous best results by more than four times. The analysis technique in this work offers a clean window to search for sub-GeV invisible particles, which can be adapted for other $J/ψ$ decays and direct $e^+e^-$ annihilation experiments in future studies, and improve the sensitivity by orders of magnitude. △ Less

Measurement of the $η$ transition form factor through $η' \rightarrow π^+π^-η$ decay

Abstract: Based on a sample of $(1.0087\pm0.0044)\times10^{10}$ $J/ψ$ events collected at BESIII, the transition form factor of the $η$ meson is extracted by analyzing $J/ψ\toγη',~η'\toπ^+π^-η,~η\toγl^+l^-$ ($l$=$e$, $μ$) events. By combining with the results based on the $J/ψ\toγη,~η\toγe^+e^-$ events from the previous BESIII measurement, we determine $Λ^{-2}=1.707\pm0.076_{\rm stat.}\pm0.029_{\rm sys.}$ (GeV/$c^2$)$^{-2}$ and $\mathcal{B}(η\toγe^+e^-)=(6.93\pm0.28_{\rm tot.})\times 10^{-3}$. In addition, we search for the dark photon ($A'$) using the combined events. No significant signal is observed, and the upper limits on $\mathcal{B}(η\toγA',~A'\to e^+e^-)$ are set at 90\% confidence level for different $A'$ mass hypotheses. △ Less

First observation of quantum correlations in $e^+e^-\to XD\bar{D}$ and $C$-even constrained $D\bar{D}$ pairs

In this Letter, the existence of quantum correlations due to charge-conjugation symmetry $C$ are demonstrated in $D\bar{D}$ pairs produced through the processes $e^+e^-\to D\bar{D}$, $e^+e^- \to D^{*}\bar{D}$, and $e^+e^- \to D^{*} \bar{D}^*$, where the lack of charge superscripts refers to an admixture of neutral-charm-meson particle and antiparticle states, using $7.13 \text{ fb}^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ collision data collected by the BESIII experiment between center-of-mass energies of $4.13-4.23 \text{ GeV}$. Processes with either $C$-even or $C$-odd constraints are identified and separated. A procedure is presented that harnesses the entangled production process to enable measurements of $D^0$-meson hadronic parameters. This study provides the first confirmation of quantum correlations in $e^+e^-\to X D\bar{D}$ processes and the first observation of a $C$-even constrained $D\bar{D}$ system. The procedure is applied to measure $δ^{D}_{Kπ}$, the strong phase between the $D^0\to K^-π^+$ and $\bar{D}^0\to K^-π^+$ decay amplitudes, which results in the determination of $δ^{D}_{Kπ}=\left(192.8^{+11.0 + 1.9}_{-12.4 -2.4}\right)^\circ$. SceneLCM: End-to-End Layout-Guided Interactive Indoor Scene Generation with Latent Consistency Model

While existing methods achieve indoor scene synthesis, they struggle with rigid editing constraints, physical incoherence, excessive human effort, single-room limitations, and suboptimal material quality. To address these limitations, we propose SceneLCM, an end-to-end framework that synergizes Large Language Model (LLM) for layout design with Latent Consistency Model(LCM) for scene optimization. Our approach decomposes scene generation into four modular pipelines: (1) Layout Generation. We employ LLM-guided 3D spatial reasoning to convert textual descriptions into parametric blueprints(3D layout). And an iterative programmatic validation mechanism iteratively refines layout parameters through LLM-mediated dialogue loops; (2) Furniture Generation. SceneLCM employs Consistency Trajectory Sampling(CTS), a consistency distillation sampling loss guided by LCM, to form fast, semantically rich, and high-quality representations. We also offer two theoretical justification to demonstrate that our CTS loss is equivalent to consistency loss and its distillation error is bounded by the truncation error of the Euler solver; (3) Environment Optimization. We use a multiresolution texture field to encode the appearance of the scene, and optimize via CTS loss. To maintain cross-geometric texture coherence, we introduce a normal-aware cross-attention decoder to predict RGB by cross-attending to the anchors locations in geometrically heterogeneous instance. (4)Physically Editing. SceneLCM supports physically editing by integrating physical simulation, achieved persistent physical realism. Extensive experiments validate SceneLCM's superiority over state-of-the-art techniques, showing its wide-ranging potential for diverse applications. △ Less

Multi-StyleGS: Stylizing Gaussian Splatting with Multiple Styles

Abstract: In recent years, there has been a growing demand to stylize a given 3D scene to align with the artistic style of reference images for creative purposes. While 3D Gaussian Splatting(GS) has emerged as a promising and efficient method for realistic 3D scene modeling, there remains a challenge in adapting it to stylize 3D GS to match with multiple styles through automatic local style transfer or manu… ▽ More In recent years, there has been a growing demand to stylize a given 3D scene to align with the artistic style of reference images for creative purposes. While 3D Gaussian Splatting(GS) has emerged as a promising and efficient method for realistic 3D scene modeling, there remains a challenge in adapting it to stylize 3D GS to match with multiple styles through automatic local style transfer or manual designation, while maintaining memory efficiency for stylization training. In this paper, we introduce a novel 3D GS stylization solution termed Multi-StyleGS to tackle these challenges. In particular, we employ a bipartite matching mechanism to au tomatically identify correspondences between the style images and the local regions of the rendered images. To facilitate local style transfer, we introduce a novel semantic style loss function that employs a segmentation network to apply distinct styles to various objects of the scene and propose a local-global feature matching to enhance the multi-view consistency. Furthermore, this technique can achieve memory efficient training, more texture details and better color match. To better assign a robust semantic label to each Gaussian, we propose several techniques to regularize the segmentation network. As demonstrated by our comprehensive experiments, our approach outperforms existing ones in producing plausible stylization results and offering flexible editing. △ Less

Abstract: We report a study of the semileptonic decays $D^+\to K_S^0π^0\ell^+ν_\ell$ ($\ell = e, μ$) based on $20.3\,\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ collision data collected at the center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector. The $D^+\to K_S^0π^0μ^+ν_μ$ decay is observed for the first time, with a branching fraction of $(0.896\pm0.017_{\rm stat}\pm0.008_{\rm syst})\%$, and the branching frac… ▽ More We report a study of the semileptonic decays $D^+\to K_S^0π^0\ell^+ν_\ell$ ($\ell = e, μ$) based on $20.3\,\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ collision data collected at the center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector. The $D^+\to K_S^0π^0μ^+ν_μ$ decay is observed for the first time, with a branching fraction of $(0.896\pm0.017_{\rm stat}\pm0.008_{\rm syst})\%$, and the branching fraction of $D^+\to K_S^0π^0e^+ν_e$ is determined with the improved precision as $(0.943\pm0.012_{\rm stat}\pm0.010_{\rm syst})\%$. From the analysis of the dynamics, we observe that the dominant $\bar{K}^\ast(892)^0$ component is accompanied by an $S$-wave contribution, which accounts for $(7.10 \pm 0.68_{\rm stat} \pm 0.41_{\rm syst})\%$ of the total decay rate of the $μ^+$ channel and $(6.39 \pm 0.17_{\rm stat} \pm 0.14_{\rm syst})\%$ of the $e^+$ channel. Assuming a single-pole dominance parameterization, the hadronic form factor ratios are extracted to be $r_V=V(0)/A_1(0)=1.42 \pm\, 0.03_{\rm stat} \pm\, 0.02_{\rm syst}$ and $r_2=A_2(0)/A_1(0)=0.75 \pm\, 0.03_{\rm stat} \pm\, 0.01_{\rm syst}$. Based on the first comprehensive angular and the decay-rate $CP$ asymmetry analysis, the full set of averaged angular and $CP$ asymmetry observables are measured as a function of the momentum-transfer squared; they are consistent with expectations from the Standard Model. No evidence for violation of $μ-e$ lepton-flavor universality is observed in either the full range or the five chosen bins of momentum-transfer squared. △ Less

Combined with a previous measurement from the BESIII… ▽ More Based on $e^{+}e^{-}$ collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of about 4.5 fb$^{-1}$ collected at center-of-mass energies between 4599.53 MeV and 4698.82 MeV with the BESIII detector, the absolute branching fraction of the Cabibbo-favored decay $Λ_{c}^{+}\toΛK_{S}^{0}K^{+}$ is measured to be $(3.12\pm0.46\pm0.15)\times10^{-3}$. Combined with a previous measurement from the BESIII Collaboration, the branching fraction of the decay $Λ_{c}^{+}\toΛK_{S}^{0}K^{+}$ is calculated to be $(3.07\pm0.26\pm0.13)\times10^{-3}$. The decay $Λ_{c}^{+}\toΞ^{0}K_{S}^{0}π^{+}$ is observed for the first time with a statistical significance of $6.6σ$, and its branching fraction is determined to be $(3.70\pm0.60\pm0.21)\times10^{-3}$. In addition, a search for the decay $Λ_{c}^{+}\toΣ^{0} K_{S}^{0}K^{+}$ is performed and its branching fraction is determined to be $(0.80^{+0.28}_{-0.24}\pm0.16)\times10^{-3}$, corresponding to an upper limit of $1.28\times10^{-3}$ at $90\%$ confidence level. Abstract: Using 20.3 fb$^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ collision data collected at the center-of-mass energy of 3.773 GeV with the BESIII detector, we measure the branching fractions of $D^+\to ηe^+ν_e$ and $D^+\to ημ^+ν_μ$ to be $(9.75\pm0.29\pm0.28)\times10^{-4}$ and $(9.08\pm0.35\pm0.23)\times10^{-4}$, where the first and second uncertainties are statistical and systematic, respectively. From a simultaneous fit to their partial decay rates, we determine the product of the hadronic form factor $f^η_+(0)$ and the modulus of the $c\to d$ Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa matrix element $|V_{cd}|$ to be $f^η_+(0)|V_{cd}|=0.078\pm0.002\pm0.001$. Taking the $|V_{cd}|$ value from the Standard Model global fit as input, we obtain $f^η_+(0)=0.345\pm0.008\pm0.003$. The ratio between the measured branching fractions of $D^+\toη^+μ^+ν_μ$ and $D^+\toηe^+ν_e$, is determined to be $0.93\pm0.05_{\rm stat.}\pm0.02_{\rm syst.}$, indicating no violation of lepton flavor universality. △ Less

SignBot: Learning Human-to-Humanoid Sign Language Interaction

However, the number of people proficient in sign language remains limited, highlighting the need for technological advancements to bridge communication gaps and foster interactions with minor… ▽ More Sign language is a natural and visual form of language that uses movements and expressions to convey meaning, serving as a crucial means of communication for individuals who are deaf or hard-of-hearing (DHH). However, the number of people proficient in sign language remains limited, highlighting the need for technological advancements to bridge communication gaps and foster interactions with minorities. Based on recent advancements in embodied humanoid robots, we propose SignBot, a novel framework for human-robot sign language interaction. SignBot integrates a cerebellum-inspired motion control component and a cerebral-oriented module for comprehension and interaction. Specifically, SignBot consists of: 1) Motion Retargeting, which converts human sign language datasets into robot-compatible kinematics; 2) Motion Control, which leverages a learning-based paradigm to develop a robust humanoid control policy for tracking sign language gestures; and 3) Generative Interaction, which incorporates translator, responser, and generator of sign language, thereby enabling natural and effective communication between robots and humans. Simulation and real-world experimental results demonstrate that SignBot can effectively facilitate human-robot interaction and perform sign language motions with diverse robots and datasets. SignBot represents a significant advancement in automatic sign language interaction on embodied humanoid robot platforms, providing a promising solution to improve communication accessibility for the DHH community. △ Less

In this study, we utilize $(10.087\pm0.044)\times10^{9}$ $J/ψ$ events collected with the BES-III detector at the BEPCII collider, performing non-local correlation tests using the entangled hyperon pairs. The massive-entangled $Λ\barΛ$ systems are formed and decay through strong and weak interactions, respectively. Through measurements of the angular distribution of $p\bar{p}$ in $J/ψ\to γη_c$ and subsequent $η_c\toΛ(pπ^-)\barΛ(\bar{p}π^{+})$ cascade decays, a significant violation of LHVT predictions is observed. The exclusion of LHVT is found to be statistically significant at a level exceeding $5.2σ$ in the testing of three Bell-like inequalities. △ Less

Modeling and prediction of mutation fitness on protein functionality with structural information using high-dimensional Potts model

However, existing methods o… ▽ More Quantifying the effects of amino acid mutations in proteins presents a significant challenge due to the vast combinations of residue sites and amino acid types, making experimental approaches costly and time-consuming. The Potts model has been used to address this challenge, with parameters capturing evolutionary dependency between residue sites within a protein family. However, existing methods often use the mean-field approximation to reduce computational demands, which lacks provable guarantees and overlooks critical structural information for assessing mutation effects. We propose a new framework for analyzing protein sequences using the Potts model with node-wise high-dimensional multinomial regression. Our method identifies key residue interactions and important amino acids, quantifying mutation effects through evolutionary energy derived from model parameters. It encourages sparsity in both site-wise and amino acid-wise dependencies through element-wise and group sparsity. We have established, for the first time to our knowledge, the $\ell_2$ convergence rate for estimated parameters in the high-dimensional Potts model using sparse group Lasso, matching the existing minimax lower bound for high-dimensional linear models with a sparse group structure, up to a factor depending only on the multinomial nature of the Potts model. This theoretical guarantee enables accurate quantification of estimated energy changes. Additionally, we incorporate structural data into our model by applying penalty weights across site pairs. Our method outperforms others in predicting mutation fitness, as demonstrated by comparisons with high-throughput mutagenesis experiments across 12 protein families. △ Less

By analyzing the cross sections of $π^{\pm}Z_{c}(3900)^{\mp}$ and $f_{0}(980)J/ψ$, $Y(4220)$ has been observed. The statistical significances for $χ_{cJ}$ signals are all larger than 5$σ$. We establish that the $a_0(980)$ line-shape arises from the triangle loop rescattering of $D^+ \to \bar{K}_0^*(1430)^0K^+ \to a_0(980)^+ η$ and $D^+ \to K_0^*(1430)^+\bar{K}^0 \to a_0(980)^+ η$ with a significance of 5.8$σ$. Real-Time Verification of Embodied Reasoning for Generative Skill Acquisition

While prior approaches often rely on supervision signals from generalist agents (e.g., LLMs), their effectiveness in complex 3D environments remains unclear; exhaustive evaluation incurs substantial computational costs, s… ▽ More Generative skill acquisition enables embodied agents to actively learn a scalable and evolving repertoire of control skills, crucial for the advancement of large decision models. While prior approaches often rely on supervision signals from generalist agents (e.g., LLMs), their effectiveness in complex 3D environments remains unclear; exhaustive evaluation incurs substantial computational costs, significantly hindering the efficiency of skill learning. Inspired by recent successes in verification models for mathematical reasoning, we propose VERGSA (Verifying Embodied Reasoning in Generative Skill Acquisition), a framework that systematically integrates real-time verification principles into embodied skill learning. VERGSA establishes 1) a seamless extension from verification of mathematical reasoning into embodied learning by dynamically incorporating contextually relevant tasks into prompts and defining success metrics for both subtasks and overall tasks, and 2) an automated, scalable reward labeling scheme that synthesizes dense reward signals by iteratively finalizing the contribution of scene configuration and subtask learning to overall skill acquisition. To the best of our knowledge, this approach constitutes the first comprehensive training dataset for verification-driven generative skill acquisition, eliminating arduous manual reward engineering. Experiments validate the efficacy of our approach: 1) the exemplar task pool improves the average task success rates by 21%, 2) our verification model boosts success rates by 24% for novel tasks and 36% for encountered tasks, and 3) outperforms LLM-as-a-Judge baselines in verification quality. △ Less

By conducting a fit to the cross sections of $e^+e^-\to Ω^{-}\barΩ^+$ considering the continuum and resonant contributions, a clear resonant structure in the spectrum around 4.2 GeV is observed for the first time with a statistical significance exceeding 10$σ$, and it can be well described with the line shape of the $Y(4230)$ and $Y(4320)$ observed in $e^+e^-\to π^{+}π^{-}J/ψ$. Evidence for the decay $ψ(3770) \to Ω^-\barΩ^{+}$ is observed with a statistical significance of 4.4$σ$ by analyzing the measured cross sections together with earlier BESIII results, and the branching fraction is firstly measured to be $(4.0\pm1.0\pm0.6)$ $\times$ $10^{-5}$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. △ Less

Increasing the density limit with ECRH-assisted Ohmic start-up on EAST

However, there is often an empirical upper limit of electron density in tokamak operation, namely the Greenwald density limit $n_G$, above which tokamaks generally disrupt. Achieving high-density operations above the density limit has been a long-standing challenge in magnetic confinement fusio… ▽ More High plasma density operation is crucial for a tokamak to achieve energy breakeven and a burning plasma. Here, we report experimental results on EAST tokamak achieving the line-averaged electron density in the range of 1.3 $n_G$ to 1.65 $n_G$,while the usual range in EAST is (0.8-1.0)$n_G$. This is performed with ECRH-assisted Ohmic start-up and a sufficiently high initial neutral density. This is motivated by and consistent with predictions of a recent plasma-wall self-organization (PWSO) theory, that increasing ECRH power or pre-filled gas pressure leads to lower plasma temperatures around divertor target and higher density limits. In addition, the experiments are shown to operate in the density-free regime predicted by the PWSO model. These results suggest a promising scheme for substantially increasing the density limit in tokamaks, a critical advancement toward achieving the burning plasma. △ Less

Additionally, there is no publicly availa… ▽ More Recent advancements in text-to-speech (TTS) models have been driven by the integration of large language models (LLMs), enhancing semantic comprehension and improving speech naturalness. However, existing LLM-based TTS models often lack open-source training code and efficient inference acceleration frameworks, limiting their accessibility and adaptability. Additionally, there is no publicly available TTS model specifically optimized for podcast scenarios, which are in high demand for voice interaction applications. To address these limitations, we introduce Muyan-TTS, an open-source trainable TTS model designed for podcast applications within a $50,000 budget. Our model is pre-trained on over 100,000 hours of podcast audio data, enabling zero-shot TTS synthesis with high-quality voice generation. Furthermore, Muyan-TTS supports speaker adaptation with dozens of minutes of target speech, making it highly customizable for individual voices. In addition to open-sourcing the model, we provide a comprehensive data collection and processing pipeline, a full training procedure, and an optimized inference framework that accelerates LLM-based TTS synthesis. A partial wave analysis (PWA) of the decay $χ_{c1}\toηηη^{\prime}$ is performed to search for the $1^{-+}$ exotic state $η_1(1855)$. The PWA result indicates that the structure in the $ηη^{\prime}$ mass spectrum is mainly attributed to the $f_0(1500)$, while in the $ηη$ mass spectrum, it is primarily the $0^{++}$ phase space. The upper limit of $\mathcal{B}(χ_{c1}\toη_{1}(1855)η) \cdot \mathcal{B}(η_{1}(1855)\toηη^{\prime})< 9.79 \times 10^{-5}$ is set based on the PWA at 90\% CL. △ Less

This study presents the development of a comprehensive X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy (XAS) database focused on iron-containing proteins, addressing a critical gap in available high-quality annotated spectral data for iron-containing proteins. The database integrates detailed XAS spectra with their corre… ▽ More Earth-abundant iron is an essential metal in regulating the structure and function of proteins. This study presents the development of a comprehensive X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy (XAS) database focused on iron-containing proteins, addressing a critical gap in available high-quality annotated spectral data for iron-containing proteins. The database integrates detailed XAS spectra with their corresponding local structural data of proteins and enables a direct comparison of spectral features and structural motifs. Utilizing a combination of manual curation and semi-automated data extraction techniques, we developed a comprehensive dataset from an extensive review of literature, ensuring the quality and accuracy of data, which contains 437 protein structures and 1954 XAS spectrums. Our methods included careful documentation and validation processes to ensure accuracy and reproducibility. This dataset not only centralizes information on iron-containing proteins but also supports advanced data-driven discoveries, such as machine learning, to predict and analyze protein structure and functions. Understanding Attention Mechanism in Video Diffusion Models

In diffusion-based T2V models, the attention mechanism is a critical component. However, it remains unclear what intermediate features are learned and how attention blocks in T2V models affect various aspects of video synthesis, such as image quality and temporal consistency. In this paper, we conduct an in-depth perturbation analysis of the spatial and temporal attention blocks of T2V models using an information-theoretic approach. Our results indicate that temporal and spatial attention maps affect not only the timing and layout of the videos but also the complexity of spatiotemporal elements and the aesthetic quality of the synthesized videos. Notably, high-entropy attention maps are often key elements linked to superior video quality, whereas low-entropy attention maps are associated with the video's intra-frame structure. Based on our findings, we propose two novel methods to enhance video quality and enable text-guided video editing. These methods rely entirely on lightweight manipulation of the attention matrices in T2V models. The efficacy and effectiveness of our methods are further validated through experimental evaluation across multiple datasets. △ Less

Abstract: We report a study of the semileptonic decay $D^0 \rightarrow \bar{K}^0π^-μ^+ν_μ$ based on a sample of $7.9~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ annihilation data collected at a center-of-mass energy of 3.773~GeV with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. The branching fraction of the decay is measured for the first time to be… ▽ More We report a study of the semileptonic decay $D^0 \rightarrow \bar{K}^0π^-μ^+ν_μ$ based on a sample of $7.9~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$ of $e^+e^-$ annihilation data collected at a center-of-mass energy of 3.773~GeV with the BESIII detector at the BEPCII collider. The branching fraction of the decay is measured for the first time to be $\mathcal{B}(D^0\rightarrow \bar{K}^0π^-μ^+ν_μ) = (1.373 \pm 0.020_{\rm stat} \pm 0.023_{\rm syst})\%$, where the first uncertainty is statistical and the second is systematic. Based on the investigation of the decay dynamics, we find that the decay is dominated by the $K^{*}(892)^-$ resonance with the branching fraction measured to be $\mathcal{B}(D^0\rightarrow K^{*}(892)^-μ^+ν_μ) = (1.948 \pm 0.033_{\rm stat} \pm 0.036_{\rm syst})\%$. We also determine the hadronic form factors for the $D^0\rightarrow K^{*}(892)^-μ^+ν_μ$ decay to be $r_{V} = V(0)/A_1(0) = 1.46 \pm 0.11_{\rm stat} \pm 0.04_{\rm syst}$, $r_{2} = A_2(0)/A_1(0) = 0.71 \pm 0.08_{\rm stat} \pm 0.03_{\rm syst}$, and $A_1(0)=0.609 \pm 0.008_{\rm stat} \pm 0.008_{\rm syst}$, where $V(0)$ is the vector form factor and $A_{1,2}(0)$ are the axial form factors evaluated at $q^2=0$. The $A_1(0)$ is measured for the first time in $D^0\rightarrow K^{*}(892)^-μ^+ν_μ$ decay. Averaging the form-factor parameters that we reported previously in $D^0\rightarrow K^*(892)^-(\rightarrow \bar{K}^0π^-)e^+ν_{e}$ and $D^0\rightarrow K^*(892)^-(\rightarrow K^-π^0)μ^+ν_μ$ decays, we obtain $r_{V}=1.456\pm0.040_{\rm stat}\pm0.016_{\rm syst}$, $r_{2}=0.715\pm0.031_{\rm stat}\pm0.014_{\rm stat}$, and $A_1(0)=0.614\pm0.005_{\rm stat}\pm0.004_{\rm syst}$. This is the most precise determination of the form-factor parameters to date measured in $D\rightarrow K^*(892)$ transition, which provide the most stringent test on various theoretical models. △ Less

This result indicates a non-zero phase between the transition amplitudes of the $Λ\barΛ$ helicity states. The cross section between $4.3$ and $4.45~\mathrm{GeV}$ exhibits a… ▽ More Using $e^+e^-$ collision data collected with the BESIII detector operating at the Beijing Electron Positron Collider, the cross section of $e^+e^-\to π^+π^- h_c$ is measured at 59 points with center-of-mass energy $\sqrt{s}$ ranging from $4.009$ to $4.950~\mathrm{GeV}$ with a total integrated luminosity of $22.2~\mathrm{fb}^{-1}$. The cross section between $4.3$ and $4.45~\mathrm{GeV}$ exhibits a plateau-like shape and drops sharply around $4.5~\mathrm{GeV}$, which cannot be described by two resonances only. Three coherent Breit-Wigner functions are used to parameterize the $\sqrt{s}$-dependent cross section line shape. The masses and widths are determined to be $M_1=(4223.6_{-3.7-2.9}^{+3.6+2.6})~\mathrm{MeV}/c^2$, $Γ_1=(58.5_{-11.4-6.5}^{+10.8+6.7})~\mathrm{MeV}$, $M_2=(4327.4_{-18.8-9.3}^{+20.1+10.7})~\mathrm{MeV}/c^2$, $Γ_2=(244.1_{-27.1-18.0}^{+34.0+23.9})~\mathrm{MeV}$, and $M_3=(4467.4_{-5.4-2.7}^{+7.2+3.2})~\mathrm{MeV}/c^2$, $Γ_3=(62.8_{-14.4-6.6}^{+19.2+9.8})~\mathrm{MeV}$. The first uncertainties are statistical and the other two are systematic. PicoPose: Progressive Pixel-to-Pixel Correspondence Learning for Novel Object Pose Estimation

Abstract: Novel object pose estimation from RGB images presents a significant challenge for zero-shot generalization, as it involves estimating the relative 6D transformation between an RGB observation and a CAD model of an object that was not seen during training. In this paper, we introduce PicoPose, a novel framework designed to tackle this task using a three-stage pixel-to-pixel correspondence learning… ▽ More Novel object pose estimation from RGB images presents a significant challenge for zero-shot generalization, as it involves estimating the relative 6D transformation between an RGB observation and a CAD model of an object that was not seen during training. In this paper, we introduce PicoPose, a novel framework designed to tackle this task using a three-stage pixel-to-pixel correspondence learning process. Firstly, PicoPose matches features from the RGB observation with those from rendered object templates, identifying the best-matched template and establishing coarse correspondences. Secondly, PicoPose smooths the correspondences by globally regressing a 2D affine transformation, including in-plane rotation, scale, and 2D translation, from the coarse correspondence map. Thirdly, PicoPose applies the affine transformation to the feature map of the best-matched template and learns correspondence offsets within local regions to achieve fine-grained correspondences. By progressively refining the correspondences, PicoPose significantly improves the accuracy of object poses computed via PnP/RANSAC. PicoPose achieves state-of-the-art performance on the seven core datasets of the BOP benchmark, demonstrating exceptional generalization to novel objects represented by CAD models or object reference images. In this roadmap, we provide an overview of the key aspects of 2D material research and development, spanning synthesis, properties and commercial applications. We specifically present roadmaps for high impact 2D materials, including graphene and its derivatives, transition metal dichalcogenides, MXenes as well as their heterostructures and moiré systems. The discussions are organized into thematic sections covering emerging research areas (e.g., twisted electronics, moiré nano-optoelectronics, polaritronics, quantum photonics, and neuromorphic computing), breakthrough applications in key technologies (e.g., 2D transistors, energy storage, electrocatalysis, filtration and separation, thermal management, flexible electronics, sensing, electromagnetic interference shielding, and composites) and other important topics (computational discovery of novel materials, commercialization and standardization). Measurement of the branching fractions of doubly Cabibbo-suppressed $D$ decays

Abstract: By analyzing $e^+e^-$ collision data collected at the center-of-mass energy of 3.773~GeV with the BESIII detector, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 20.3~fb$^{-1}$, we measure the branching fractions of the doubly Cabibbo-suppressed (DCS) decays $D^0\to K^+π^-$, $D^0\to K^+π^-π^-π^+$, $D^0\to K^+π^-π^0$, $D^0\to K^+π^-π^0π^0$, $D^+\to K^+π^+π^-$, and $D^+\to K^+K^+K^-$. We also perform… ▽ More By analyzing $e^+e^-$ collision data collected at the center-of-mass energy of 3.773~GeV with the BESIII detector, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 20.3~fb$^{-1}$, we measure the branching fractions of the doubly Cabibbo-suppressed (DCS) decays $D^0\to K^+π^-$, $D^0\to K^+π^-π^-π^+$, $D^0\to K^+π^-π^0$, $D^0\to K^+π^-π^0π^0$, $D^+\to K^+π^+π^-$, and $D^+\to K^+K^+K^-$. We also perform the first searches for $D^0\to K^+π^-η$, $D^0\to K^+π^-π^0η$, $D^+\to K^+π^+π^-η$, $D^{+} \to K^{+} \left(π^{+} π^{-} η\right)_{{\rm non}-η^{\prime}}$, and $D^+\to K^+ηη$ and report the first observations and evidence for some of these final states. Combining the measurements with the world averages of the corresponding Cabibbo-favored (CF) decays, the ratios of the DCS/CF branching fractions are obtained. Observation of the decay $ψ(3686)\rightarrow Σ^{0}\barΣ^{0}ω$

Abstract: Using a dataset of $(27.12\pm 0.14)\times 10^{8}$ $ψ(3686)$ events collected by the BESIII detector operating at the BEPCII collider, we report the first observation of the decay $ψ(3686)\toΣ^{0}\barΣ^{0}ω$ with a statistical significance of 8.9$σ$. Stringent test of $CP$ symmetry in $Σ^+$ hyperon decays

Abstract: The non-leptonic two-body weak decays $Σ^{+} \to p π^{0}$ and $\barΣ^{-} \to \bar{p} π^{0}$ are investigated, utilizing $(1.0087\pm0.0044)\times10^{10}$ $J/ψ$ events and $(2.7124\pm0.0143)\times10^{9}$ $ψ(3686)$ events collected by BESIII experiment. The precision of the weak-decay parameters for the decays $Σ^{+} \to p π^{0}$ ($α_{0}$) and $\barΣ^{-} \to \bar{p} π^{0}$ ($\barα_{0}$) is improved b… ▽ More The non-leptonic two-body weak decays $Σ^{+} \to p π^{0}$ and $\barΣ^{-} \to \bar{p} π^{0}$ are investigated, utilizing $(1.0087\pm0.0044)\times10^{10}$ $J/ψ$ events and $(2.7124\pm0.0143)\times10^{9}$ $ψ(3686)$ events collected by BESIII experiment. The precision of the weak-decay parameters for the decays $Σ^{+} \to p π^{0}$ ($α_{0}$) and $\barΣ^{-} \to \bar{p} π^{0}$ ($\barα_{0}$) is improved by a factor of three compared to the previous world average. Furthermore, the quantum-entangled $Σ^{+}\barΣ^{-}$ system enables the most precise test of $CP$ symmetry for the decay $Σ^+\to pπ^0$, through the asymmetry observable $A_{CP}=(α_{0}+\barα_{0})/(α_{0}-\barα_{0})$ that is measured to be $-0.0118\pm0.0083_{\rm stat}\pm0.0028_{\rm syst}$. Assuming $CP$ conservation, the average decay parameter is determined to be ${\left< α_{\rm 0}\right>} = (α_0-\barα_0)/2=-0.9869\pm0.0011_{\rm stat}\pm0.0016_{\rm syst}$, which is the most precise measurement of the asymmetry decay parameters in baryon sectors. The angular dependence of the ratio of the polarization of the $Σ^+$ in both $J/ψ$ and $ψ(3686)$ decays is studied for the first time. △ Less

The branching fraction of $D_{s}^{+} \to K_{S}^{0}K_{L}^{0}π^{+}$ is determined to be $(1.86\pm0.06_{\rm stat}\pm0.03_{\rm syst})\%$. Combining the $\mathcal{B}(D_{s}^{+} \to φ(\to K_{S}^0K_{L}^0) π^+)$ obtained in this work and the world average of $\mathcal{B}(D_{s}^{+} \to φ(\to K^+K^-) π^+)$, we measure the relative branching fraction $\mathcal{B}(φ\to K_S^0K_L^0)/\mathcal{B}(φ\to K^+K^-)$=($0.597 \pm 0.023_{\rm stat} \pm 0.018_{\rm syst} \pm 0.016_{\rm PDG}$), which deviates from the PDG value by more than 3$σ$. Furthermore, the asymmetry of the branching fractions of $D^+_s\to K_{S}^0K^{*}(892)^{+}$ and $D^+_s\to K_{L}^0K^{*}(892)^{+}$, $\frac{\mathcal{B}(D_{s}^{+} \to K_{S}^0K^{*}(892)^{+})-\mathcal{B}(D_{s}^{+} \to K_{L}^0K^{*}(892)^{+})}{\mathcal{B}(D_{s}^{+} \to K_{S}^0K^{*}(892)^{+})+\mathcal{B}(D_{s}^{+} \to K_{L}^0K^{*}(892)^{+})}$, is determined to be $(-13.4\pm5.0_{\rm stat}\pm3.4_{\rm syst})\%$. △ Less
